I saw this show the other day and it is fantastic. Some of the scenes are so funny that I couldn't stop laughing for the whole show. The director and dramturg Bjork Jakobsdottir can be really proud of this production.

My First was selected as one of the 10 best plays of the year in Iceland by Morgunblaðið daily.

I went with the 9th and 10th graders of the International School of Iceland to see the play 'My First...' in Hafnafjörður on Wednesday. The play touches on many very sensitive but important topics regarding intimacy, relationships and sex - all of those 1st experiences that can be difficult to talk about. The play tastefully covered all of these topics in a straightforward manner and with humor. The teens could easily relate to the material and the cast was energetic and sincere in their performance. I would recommend the play to every teenager and every parent of teenagers.

One of the funniest and most sincere plays I have ever seen about being a teenager. Absolutely brilliantly acted and directed.

"...Not many words are needed when complimenting the cast, how brilliantly they sing, how beautifully they dance and move, how disciplined and coordinated they are, least of all how much respect they show their own material and how sincerly they advise their peers on how to treat the other sex. Simply a fantastic show..."
